It’s that typically British fortnight of the summer. A glass
of Pimms, maybe a spot of afternoon tea complete with strawberries and cream and
a tennis match…or six hundred. I have to admit I’m not a big tennis fan. I don’t
massively follow Wimbledon but you just can’t argue with the spirit that it
brings. And I’m definitely not arguing with all of the chic outfits on display
in the audience. Wimbledon
calls for sophistication and maybe just a little summer playfulness and year after
year celebrities don’t disappoint. Here are a few of my favourites from this season.

Pippa Middleton
Whilst the Duchess of Cornwall was fussed over in a red L.K.Bennett dress, looking effortless as always, younger sister Pippa just pipped
her at the post. Middleton was totally on trend in this cute Caroline Herrera co-ord.
Herrera apparently a favoured designer of Middleton. Co-ords premiered last
summer and I will absolutely never tire of them. By opting for monochrome, one
of my favourite S/S 15 trends, Middleton shows us that co-ords are adaptable to work with new trends. This peplum and trouser collab
looked smart but her boho waves and plaited hair relaxed her look making it
perfect for a day at Wimbledon.

Eleanor Tomlinson and Douglas Booth
Fellow actors Douglas Booth and Eleanor Tomlinson both
looked polished in Ralph Lauren. Known for its sports fashion
traits it's no wonder Ralph Lauren has been a clear choice for many attending Wimbledon. This vibe was
seen in Tomlinson’s ivory dress which seemed to reflect a look not just off the
courts but also on them. Booth looked chic as well in a beige pinstripe. The
choice of colour brought a lighter feel to his dark trousers for summer but
still looked smart. Both Tomlinson and Booth show that being understated doesn’t mean you won’t
stand out.

Tanya Burr
Another outfit I just have to put in here is Tanya Burr’s. Beauty
blogger and YouTuber Burr always looks stylish. I adore the Whistles’ skirt she
sported at Wimbledon. A-line midi skirts have become really popular this
summer, Zara being a personal favourite of high street stores stocking the style. Burr wore a floral print
which looks great against the sunny Wimbledon backdrop. Her top was a simple Topshop piece with
scalloped sleeves which worked well with her busy skirt. Burr opted for a
lovely relaxed look with her hair, like Middleton’s, but of course it’s a glass
of champagne that really finishes any outfit as Burr showed us.
